There are three things
That I know for sure about poetry

One:
Poetry is not fixed into
The meters and rhymes we learn
In fifty-minute English classes,
But meter and rhyme,
The patterns of stressed and unstressed,
They are nothing but ways to define words
Arranged on a page
The way we
Define each other by accent, stature, and disposition

Two:
Poetry can be made out of anything
Movements,
Moments,
People—
Anything can be captured,
Anything
Can become a poem because
Nothing
Is so insignificant
That words are too much to describe it

Three:
Writing a poem is
Giving
The world a piece of yourself,
Giving your voice
A chance to cry out
And be heard above the others—
Here I am world!
Here I am!

The internet’s most beloved geek, Wil Wheaton, calls out misogyny in gaming, and confronts the men who attack him for doing so. Incredible.

im really mad at how accurate this is

A moment of silence for our fallen bearded brother who sacrificed himself for the sake of this disgustingly accurate illustration.

Is that even the same person
